Every two years the International Guide Dog Federation (IGDF) organizes a conference summerizing the latest professional and scientific results. 300 professionals of more than 60 guide dog schools from the 5 continents shared their knowledge and experience with each other. We could take part in this large-scale professional event for the first time, where we were warmly welcomed. We could learn about a variety of new tools, and methods and received access to international databases. Launching a world-class breeding program and training even better guide dogs  is within reach now.
